I was left and lost without my heart
I can only feel the void like before.
I once saw beauty for the most part
But for now that path has a closed door.
Though I found my way through this forest,
I can’t say I enjoyed my stay.
I have given everything up once before,
I sacrificed it all to have nothing.
But yet I linger, in a world full of color
I deserved Blackness, an eternity at hell
Why am I here in this world so odd?
This journey, this path I have traveled
Allies I have made, the forsaken
I have helped.
What is its purpose?
For am I to understand?

I come across a vast, luminescent
Vibrant and most colorful sea
As I look upon its beauty,
I notice a creature so magnificent
I can’t remember such a glee
For this creature I remember,
From a world I left behind
From a world which I wish to not remember.
Brings magnanimity to all it sees
I’ve never seen life so beautiful,
I’ve never known a kindness so real
Maybe I was blind,
Maybe I was selfish,
A darkness, a disease
Something I believed, only death could cure
Perhaps I never knew
I never knew
Of the heart of whales.
The courage,
The clemency
Of this beast, resonates inside
Creating the dissonance of pain
Yet love,
Of sorrow and of the lost.
Its tenderness towards all,
And voice from the ever deep abyss
What is its purpose?
